WINTER SERIES DRIVES AVAILABLE IN F4, RENAULT & GINETTA
Leading motor racing team Hillspeed has some fantastic race packages available in no fewer than three top categories ahead of the upcoming ‘winter’ season – the BRDC Formula 4 Championship, Protyre Formula Renault Championship and Ginetta Junior Championship.
Having steered Seb Morris to the Vice-Champion’s position in the inaugural F4 season this year and taking Struan Moore to his maiden single-seater race victory, the Richard Ollerenshaw-led squad was also a podium regular in Protyre Formula Renault – a category the team won outright in 2010.
Some of Hillspeed’s greatest successes have come in the ranks of Ginetta Junior in recent years, with title success in both the main 2010 championship and Winter Series, before the team did the double in 2011. In short, Hillspeed’s level of achievement across all three categories is clear to see.
Snetterton 300 Circuit in Norfolk will host the opening four races of the BRDC Formula 4 Winter Series on 9th/10th November with rounds five to eight following a fortnight later, over the weekend 23rd/24th November, at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit in Kent.
Rockingham International Super Sportscar Circuit will host the four-round Protyre Formula Renault ‘Autumn Cup’ over the weekend 16th/17th November while the ATL Racing Fuel Cells Ginetta Junior Winter Series will take place on 9th/10th November at Snetterton, running with BRDC Formula 4.
“Historically, we’ve enjoyed a lot of success in Winter Series championships and they’re always the best way for new, young drivers coming in to gain vital race experience and racecraft”, said Hillspeed team principal Richard Ollerenshaw.
“Additionally, they’re a perfect way for established racers to keep their skills sharp during the winter months. We’re keen to hear from any drivers interested in Formula 4, Formula Renault and Ginetta Junior and have some very attractive packages available for all three categories.”
