Hillspeed return to UK Formula Renault Championship

Richard Ollerenshaw’s Hillspeed operation made a stunning return to the Formula Renault UK Championship at Oulton Park in Cheshire over the weekend with a fourth and fifth place results in rounds 9 and 10 of the championship.

The Hathersage based team are now considering entering a second car should a suitable driver be found to run alongside Singleton in the second half of the season.

Speaking on the teams return Ollerenshaw commented that he was very pleased to be back in the premier single seater championship in the UK. Our previous results did not make such fantastic reading but there are often more contributing factors behind a teams performance. We work exceptionally hard to turn out good cars that are well engineered and capable of winning races. The final piece of the package that we were previously missing in the Formula Renault UK championship was the driver. In Richard we have someone who is very quick and capable, this has been shown this weekend with the results he has brought home on his first outing with us.
